DINE & LIBATE
In addition to the Chicago Athletic Association’s luxurious accommodations, this 1890s monument is home to seven of the city’s best-loved dining establishments. The space that club members once used to recharge has now transformed into a hub for hotel guests and locals seeking spirited hospitality and artful cuisine. From the year-round rooftop restaurant Cindy’s to the James Beard-winning Cherry Circle Room and the Game Room for billiards and beers, our celebrated food and beverage experience awaits.
CINDY'S
Crown Jewel
Cindy’s is our all-seasoned rooftop restaurant atop the hotel with sweeping views of Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. Providing a remarkable backdrop for Top Chef contestant Executive Chef Kaleena Bliss and her inspired menu featuring local wild and seasonal produce and fresh seafood.
The darling of Chicago’s own Land and Sea Dept, the James Beard award-winning Cherry Circle Room melds the building’s historic original features with modern design elements. Swell curves and swank wood panels frame a refined menu featuring throwback cocktails and tableside presentations of the finest meats.
The original billiards room, Game Room, transforms into a lively bar and playground with a cocktail culture, classic suds and grub, and games like pop-a-shot, skeeball, billiards, shuffleboard, chess, and checkers.
Milk Room, a former speakeasy, is an eight-seat microbar that specializes in rare vintage spirits and curated whiskies. The spirit-forward cocktail menu creates a historical drinking experience with epic stories.
Adorned with three fireplaces with extraordinary relief work, the Drawing Room serves rustic yet refined menu with takes on regional classics. It’s the ideal setting to sip on your coffee with morning emails or dig into a good book and a strong cocktail.
Where else can you chow down on Shake Shack’s mouth-watering burgers, crinkle cuts and frozen custard shakes surrounded by stained glass, soaring ceilings and marble staircases? Bring your lunchtime, post-workout and after-work appetites to this contemporary landmark for famed fare done right—with hand-selected beers and wines to boot.
Answering the age-old dispute, “coffee or tea?” with rare diplomacy, our first-of-its-kind destination purveys dozens of the nation’s finest craft roasters and specialty teas under one roof. Behind the bar, cold brews and sparkling teas are served on tap, matcha is whipped to order and a variety of artisanal beverages and kombuchas celebrate choice.
